Living Their Character

One small invitation each week. Not to add to your burden, but to lighten it.

The practices we return to

Give a secret sadaqah
Inspired by Imam ʿAli Zayn al-ʿAbidin (ع)

This week, give something to someone without ever telling anyone you did.

Speak gently
Inspired by The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

For seven days, when you feel the rise of a sharp reply, pause and choose the softer word.

Pray on time
Inspired by The Imams (ع)

This week, pray each salah at its earliest time — even if it is brief.

Visit (or call) your parents
Inspired by The Qur'anic command 'and to parents

Reach out to your parents this week with no agenda — only to be near them.

Forgive one person
Inspired by Imam al-Hasan (ع)

Name one person you have been quietly holding something against. Forgive them this week — even if only in your heart.

A small dhikr challenge
Inspired by The Tasbih of al-Zahra (ع) — 34 Allahu Akbar

For seven days, keep the Tasbih of al-Zahra after every salah.

A simple parenting challenge
Inspired by The Prophet ﷺ who let children climb on him in sajdah

This week, give each of your children five uninterrupted minutes — no phone, no task — and tell them one thing Allah loves about them.

A gentle hand

Continue Your Journey

Soft suggestions to keep walking quietly, at your own pace.
