The believer is the brother of the believer; he is his eye and his guide. He does not betray him, nor wrong him, nor deceive him, and a promise made to him is a debt., Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام

O Near One
Sit on your prayer mat for two minutes, even without praying. Let the body remember the way back before the heart does.
Do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. (Qur'an 39:53)
Despair is unbelief greater than disbelief, for Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: 'None despairs of Allah's mercy except the disbelieving people.', Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام

Hope is not naivety, it is taking Allah at His word. He named Himself al-Rahman before you ever needed Him to be.
