Imam Jaʿfar al-Sadiq عليه السلام

Father of the Jaʿfari school of jurisprudence. Four thousand students sat in his classes — among them the giants of hadith, ethics, and even early science. He spoke with the calm of someone who saw all paths, and pointed only toward Allah.
